  Shanghai Qinghang Ship Company is established by Cai Jinqi, who invented the technology of forming a thin layer of air film at ship bottom to reduce resistance. He spent his life in research on energy saving technology for ships and has gained a lot of experience. The company’s employees are mostly professionals graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University. Our company engages in designing ships using our technology, providing technology and consulting on air-filmed high speed ships and container ships to other company, promoting this high value adding resistance reducing technology. Our company cooperates with other companies to design and build high-speed ship and container ships using our technology to form a thin layer of air film at ship bottom to reduce resistance. Our technology is one of Shanghai government’s high-tech transforming projects. It can help ships to save about 20% energy. Providing saving power air-film high speed ship and container ship technology at low quote
Air pumped into ship bottom can form air film when passing through the equipment installed. Our technology can reduce resistance and promote speed because the air film substitute ship bottom to contact with water.
1. Providing power saving air-film high speed ship technology
Using our optimized ship shape and technology to reduce resistance, tests show that high-speed ship can save about 30% power when compared to hovercrafts. Our power saving air-film high-speed ship is cheap to build, more energy efficient and easy to maintain.

2. Providing power saving air-film container ship technology
To use our technology on container ship, we need to install pumps on ship and devices at ship bottom in order to form a layer of air film at ship bottom. Our technology can reduce contact area of water and ship by 35%, which can reduce resistance and save a large amount of energy. A 4200 TEU container ship can save about 6 million USD per year.
